Community Garden

In 2014, George and Roz Simpson, two Huntington Park residents, generously allowed the board to convert their vacant lot on Brittany Road to a fenced-in community garden.

The garden provides a sunny, deer-proof area for growing organic fruits and vegetables. There are 30 raised beds for association members’ use each year for a $10 fee, depending on availability. The funds are used for garden maintenance.

The garden has contributed hundreds of pounds of fresh produce to the local food bank since its inception, along with fresh food for the gardeners.

For information or to rent a bed, contact us using the email icon in the footer. As available beds are limited, it is best to contact us as early in the year as possible if you want to rent a bed.
