Little Free Libraries

TAKE A BOOK, SHARE A BOOK

Huntington Park has two Little Free Libraries the end of W. Huntington Road. We are excited to be the stewards for one library for children and one library for adults. The mission of the Little Free Libraries movement is to promote literacy and the love of reading. Little Free Library books are available to anyone in the neighborhood as a gift - they are never for sale!

The way it works is simple:

  1. We stock the libraries with a variety of good quality books that we hope will interest our neighbors.

  2. You stop by and take whatever catches your fancy.

  3. You return and bring books to contribute.

Each of our libraries was recognized as a Library of Distinction. This award is given by LittleFreeLibrary.org to those libraries which have "unique designs reflecting creativity and enthusiasm" for the library project.

If you have any questions or if you have more books to donate than will fit in the libraries, please contact us using the email icon in the footer.
